NSL Foods Public Company Limited was honored with the 1st Runner-Up Award in the Industrial Category of the 2024 Thai Rice Innovation Contest, organized by the Rice Foundation under the Royal Patronage in collaboration with the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization).
This recognition reinforces NSL’s role as an innovation-driven company, continually developing ready-to-eat food products—transforming traditional rice dishes into convenient, easy-to-eat bar formats that are both satisfying and suited to modern lifestyles.
Mr. Weerachon Khaophong, Executive Vice President of NSL Foods, accepted the honorary plaque, certificate, and cash prize from Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Chairman of the Rice Foundation, on October 4, 2024.
NSL Foods submitted its product “Rice Bar by NSL” to the competition, highlighting its uniqueness in turning ready-to-eat meals into compact rice bars—where the rice remains intact, not broken or crumbly. The bars feature a variety of rice types and come in both savory and sweet fillings, tailored to the needs of younger consumers. With just three minutes of heating, the product is ready to enjoy.

The National Innovation Awards are prestigious accolades presented to outstanding innovations from across the country. The initiative honors the royal aspirations of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, the Father of Thai Innovation, and showcases the potential of Thai innovators and innovations on the global stage.
