NSL FOODS PLC. continues to drive environmental change through collective employee efforts in the project “Sort to Give – BUILD THE CHANGE BY THE HANDS,” promoting systematic waste management and generating social impact in celebration of Global Recycling Day ♻️
Led by Mr. Weerachon Khaophong, Assistant Executive Director, NSL’s management and staff actively participated in sorting waste—particularly clear PET plastic bottles—for recycling via the Recycle Day service truck. These materials are then transformed into reflective safety vests under the “Mue Wiset” (Magic Hands) initiative, which supports street sanitation workers in Bangkok by increasing their visibility and safety on the road 🦺✨
🌍 This year, NSL collected over 189 kilograms of plastic packaging for recycling and continues this impactful project into its second year. The initiative has also contributed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by more than 71 kgCO₂e (carbon dioxide equivalent) 🌱
🌿 NSL believes in the power of collaboration to create meaningful change. By promoting responsible resource use, systematic recycling, and active participation in socially impactful initiatives, NSL supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production and Goal 13: Climate Action.
🧡 NSL is committed to being a driving force for positive change, working hand-in-hand with all sectors for the well-being of society and a truly sustainable future for all. 🍃🤝
