NSL Foods Public Company Limited partners with Banpu NEXT to advance Phase 3 towards Net Zero

NSL Foods Public Company Limited has expanded its collaboration with Banpu NEXT on the rooftop solar power generation project (Solar PV Rooftop), entering Phase 3. This development reinforces their strategic partnership in driving sustainability and making tangible progress towards Net Zero. The system is being installed at NSL’s new factory, NSL Integration, established to enhance readiness in meeting the company’s continuously growing production capacity. The initiative also reflects NSL’s trust and confidence in the quality and efficiency of Banpu NEXT’s solar solutions. Furthermore, this collaboration reaffirms Banpu NEXT’s role as a Net Zero Solutions partner, supporting the joint advancement towards Net Zero in a sustainable way.

Mr. Somchai Asavapiyanond, Chairman of the Executive Committee of NSL Foods Public Company Limited, and Mr. Smittipon Srethapramote, Chief Executive Officer of Banpu NEXT Company Limited, signed the agreement for the rooftop solar power generation system between NSL Integration Company Limited, a subsidiary of NSL Foods Public Company Limited, and Banpu NEXT Company Limited, with senior executives from both organisations witnessing the signing.

This project forms part of NSL’s sustainability strategy, NSL Lead to Net Zero 2050. Across all three phases, NSL has installed solar systems with a total generating capacity of more than 3.5 megawatts-peak (MWp), covering both its existing factories and the new NSL Integration facility, thereby strengthening its readiness to support continuous production growth. The initiative enables NSL to reduce carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions from electricity consumption in Scope 2 by more than 2,408 tonnes annually.
